Cast of void pointer dev_private is unnecessary in C (only in C++ is it needed).

Useless initialization, you are setting in next line.

Thanks for your review! Will refine this in the patchset of upcoming version.

Hello,

This patch is causing the following build failure in latest main (6a88cbc) with clang 3.4.2 in CentOS 7:
drivers/net/idpf/idpf_vchnl.c:141:13: error: comparison of constant 522 with expression of type 'enum virtchnl_ops' is always false [-Werror,-Wtautological-constant-out-of-range-compare]

Regards,
Ali

I'd like to report that this patch is causing a compilation failure over the main tree 22.11-rc2:

this is the failure which I see:

1 error generated.
[1424/2559] Generating eal.sym_chk with a meson_exe.py custom command
ninja: build stopped: subcommand failed.

And it's happening with the CLANG compiler:
clang version 3.4.2 (tags/RELEASE_34/dot2-final)

Kindest regards,

Please Beilei, Xiaoyun, Xiao and Junfeng,
is it something you could fix quickly?
Thanks
