For now, here is a series of cleanups on the virtual pmds. The former patches are just about removing counters that adds nothing to the stats. The latter patches make sure that unsent packets (because of a temporary situation) are not added to oerrors since an application can decide to send them again later. Wrt oerrors, the pcap pmd should be fixed with the series [1].
