[v2,0/4] fixes for dma/idxd

  Collection of fixes for idxd driver, including one small enhancement to the
unit tests to help catch future errors too.

V2:
* Changed from single patch for one issue (now patch 1) to multiple
  patches to cover other issues discovered.
